Lawrence Architecture designed this modern green residence the a 10 acre heavily-wooded site on the Olympic Peninsula near Port Townsend, Washington, for a modern green home for a retired couple in their mid 60s who were moving ashore after 30 years as live-aboards on a sailboat. Originally containing a grove of deciduous trees, the building site is a clearing within a forest of fir and cedars. A new green home for a clearing in the woods composed of four sections: a master bedroom suite, an office, the living spaces (main cabin), and a guest suite. The general contractor was Tollefson Builders, Inc. Completed spring 2008. The detached accessory separate building with 2-car garage, work shop, and an accessory dwelling unit.

The Private Apartment is located a historic building on the Chicago, Illinois. The architecture design building is an early example of a large-scale reinforced concrete construction. Bell-capped columns and large steel windows visually dominate the tall apartment interior spaces. The major gathering spaces of the new Private Apartment include the living room, dining area, and kitchen, which are combined to provide a apacious central space modulated by the existing bell-cap columns.
