Upper Terrace Mid-Century Modern Home using Ipe Wood

By matalangit On January 3rd, 2010

This Upper Terrace Mid-Century Modern Home using Ipe Wood, the mid-century home had not been updated since it was built in 1950. Group 41 designed fresh and contemporary modern interiors that still respect the mid-century feel and details, including lovely plaster crown moldings. The embedded reeds give the modern interiors a beautiful, natural atmosphere. The modern facade, with virtually no character, was modernized using Ipe wood as an accent, and planter boxes.

The modern bathrooms and modern kitchen were updated using clean looking at modern materials and contemporary lighting. 3-Form eco-resin panels were employed throughout the house as window treatments and door glazing.
