The fundamental concept behind Acero House: Modern Luxury Home in Las Vegas design- simple geometric forms presented in a unique and unsuspecting manner. The second floor is also a simple form, but extends out to the pool and overhangs the house below by 20 feet and is almost completely supported by a single column. In many instances Acero pushes the envelope of modern design and engineering.

The amount of structural steel necessary to sculpt Acero, not only gave Acero its name (Spanish for steel), but also represented over 25% of the total construction costs! Upon entering Acero through the steel entry gate, the all-glass front door features hands-free operation.

The vast entry extends over a sunk-down fire pit area, and brings the outdoors inside with tropical planters throughout the main living area. The water feature falling from the second floor down to the pool, acts as a natural swamp cooler with frequent southwest breezes passing through the water into the Great Room.
